Found this blog post sharing how to connect your mac to a 3G internet modem connection on a nokia phone. For n95 users, here’s the link >> to add modem scripts for your phone unless leopard has added in more modem scripts for n95(why i say so is because i installed this before setting up the above). This link provides a download url to install isync drivers for various nokia devices.I am amazed at how fast it is to set this all up. 5 mins if you know what you are doing. =)Now i am holding back my decision to unsubscribe my Unlimited 2.5G data plan to Singtel’s broadband on mobile.

Steve jobs has just announced the scheduled February ‘08 arrival of third party SDK on the iPhone/iPod Touch. This is gonna be exciting with the revolutionary user interface of iPhone/Touch.
… With our revolutionary multi-touch interface, powerful hardware and advanced software architecture, we believe we have created the best mobile platform ever for developers.
Steve
I like the idea that Apple is attempting to reach out to the third party developer community. Now i can only wait for February to come. Time to save up for an iPhone/Touch. I might consider getting the Touch.

The highly anticipated iPhone is out this Friday. Found a couple of reviews online. Reviews are good but i am going to resist the temptation. Most Apple products come good after its second or third release. Eager US folks have already started queuing at the Apple store to have their “itching” hands on their own iPhone.
Reviews out there:
Did you know you have to be a AT&T mobile subscriber if you want to get the iPhone? Yes, they have locked the iPhone to only accept AT&T.

My nano died many many weeks ago; the menu button doesn’t work anymore. It had died on me before after my sweat seeped in during one of my ambitious night runs. For one week, the nano never powered up. Amazingly, it revived itself a week later.
I supposed my sweat corroded the circuitry for the menu function. Everything else worked fine. Good thing i remembered it was still under warranty. Remembering when Apple products launches is a must-do. For this case, i can remember how much i am into my ipod limited warranty. I was gadget crazy during that time and ipod nano was simply amazing; it still is now.
Instead of fixing the parts that went faulty, Apple would rather replace the whole nano for me. I am wondering how come the iShop people said they were bringing in the replacement parts. They should have told me that they were bringing in a whole new ipod nano for me. The really cool thing is: A new ipod nano equals to a new serial number and equals to another one year warranty. It sure feels like buying a new nano! Kudos to Apple!
